Just one thing
Change requires action!
A common mistake we make when seeking to create change is we overload ourselves with a massive action list that typically serves to create overwhelm rather than momentum as we had hoped.
When it comes to wellbeing we think if we attempt to throw a lot of action at it that something will stick. Unfortunately all that does is put additional pressure and stress on ourselves which is counterproductive for improving our wellbeing.
The secret to creating change is doing less. Less is definitely more.
So out of all the things you could do to improve your wellbeing, identify the ONE THING that will have the most impact and focus on that as a priority.
To maximise this one action being successful, eliminate all obstacles and barriers. Make it as simple as possible to complete the action repeatedly and consistently. Ideally, see if you can attach it to something else you have already established as a habit.
When you attach a new action to something you are already committed to doing, that commitment transfers to the new action.
And should you stumble as you make a commitment to this new action, simply pick yourself up and start again. It’s less important if do it perfectly and more important that you just keep going.
Focus on mastering one new action before starting on your next!
